The pear tree is a fruit plant and is widespread throughout Europe. The trees can reach 25 metres in height and a trunk diameter of up to 50 cm, it growths predominantly straight with a cross section more or less regular. The pear tree has a very dense and hard wood. The grain is often straight or slightly wavy
